The course is open. After another very wet night, the course is delicate on the surface as we approach winter, it’s important to be aware of your route round the course to avoid any possible damage. No buggies. Model Local Rule E-2 (cleaning ball) implemented from 10th October 2026. When a player’s ball lies in the general area, the ball may be lifted, cleaned and replaced without penalty. The player must mark the spot of the ball before lifting it (see Rule 14.1) and the ball must be replaced on its original spot. In addition, from 10th October 2026, the Committee will implement a local rule (model rule F-14) for a ball lost in leaves accumulated in the general area. Under rule 16.1e a player may take relief where they and their playing partners believe the ball entered the area covered by leaves.

Our superb 18-hole parkland course has been rated as one of the best conditioned in the West of Scotland and we were a finalist in the 2022 Scottish Golf Tourism Awards in the category 'Best Course under £75.00'. Nestling under Kelburn Castle’s wooded estate noted for an abundance of wildlife, the manicured greens are the envy of other clubs. Combined with lush fairways, meandering burns and tree-lined dog-legs, the course offers a fair but rewarding challenge for golfers of all abilities.

We also offer a range of competitively priced packages which can be tailored to suit any size of visiting parties or societies. The Professional’s shop is well stocked and can supply all your golfing needs. Pull trolleys, electric trolleys, and ride-on buggies can be hired. A bespoke indoor studio is available for custom fitting, lessons or members practice.

Our clubhouse and restaurant provide a terrific setting for all types of functions.
