We had a great day for our John Lambert Texas Scramble on Sunday 23rd April. This is the first time this event has been played as an Open competition. Thank you to all the visitors who participated and for all the great feedback we received. Thanks also to members who supported the event.
We had an eventful day – a hole in 1 was recorded at the 4th hole by visitor Gary Steele early in the day to get us off and running. Scoring was very good despite tricky conditions and home advantage certainly seemed to help!
Our winners with a fantastic score of 50 were home members Grant Macpherson, Robbie McAllister, Colin Hambleton, and Gerry McAllister. In fact, 4 of the top 5 teams all had Largs members in them.
